I'm not gonna lie

I've been blogging in my head for the past week but they never quite make it online. I'm not gonna lie, I am tired. I've been working a lot, shooting a lot, and getting up at 5:30 am with an adorable baby who thinks that is a normal time to get up. It's exhausting and wonderful. I've also been enjoying being a little bit more "unplugged" than usual. I've hardly been on Facebook, I check my Blackberry less, and haven't been on the phone much lately (sorry MT, I owe you a call). Overall I am feeling more balanced but super tired this week. I need to edit photo shoots every night but I keep falling asleep with my laptop in my lap and my finger on the mouse - not ideal for Photoshop mastery :) I have pics of the girls to share but they are on my camera, and my camera is in my car, and I need to go to bed. Maybe tomorrow...

Christmas Cards

I feel like I have taken Christmas card photos for everyone in town ... except for myself! I tried to get a picture of Addison while we were at my parents house over Thanksgiving but I failed because she was off of her nap schedule and during the good times for light, she was grumpy. Plus, I'll be honest, I was a little "over" taking photos that week after my marathon the week prior. Anyway, this weekend is my last hope to try to get a decent picture. I would love to do a family photo but that's kind of a problem when you are a photographer and are SUPER picky about what photo you use. However, I'm determined to get something because I really love to send and receive Christmas cards. Plus Shutterfly has a great promo for bloggers and you can get 50 free cards! I used Shutterfly last year and ordered two different versions because I could not pick between my fav designs. Their Christmas card designs are really cute, plus they have adorable personalized gift tags and lots of other cute gift ideas (you can never go wrong with a photo book, I have a ton of them!).
